I’ve always wanted to play around with double exposure – merging two contrasting images into one, obscure yet beautiful singularity. I love the concept of elevating fashion photography to the next level with art. Theres something creatively satisfying about reimagining an image and allowing it to evolve.

Here’s the finished product of a little creative collaboration that I’ve been waiting to share for a couple of months now! I’ve always wanted to play around with double exposure – merging two contrasting images into one, obscure yet beautiful singularity. I love the concept of elevating fashion photography to the next level with art. Theres something creatively satisfying about reimagining an image and allowing it to evolve.

On the other side of the world, I’m fending off persisting jet lag by trying to bask in the sunlight as much as possible in an attempt to keep myself awake and coherent. I’m staying a block from the famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu so I’ve made a personal mission to explore each neighbouring street by foot eager to find those hole-in-the-wall cafes and handicraft stores. (You can follow my adventures on Instagram and Facebook.) I’m beyond excited to travel to the NorthShore on the weekend and in-between visiting the famous food trucks, I’m planning to try my luck at surfing. Yes, I am the ‘anomaly Australian who has never surfed’ but! That’s soon to change (Woo!) I’m happily escaping to the present moment here in Hawaii and I hope you’re stopping to enjoy the moment with your loved ones this December and not letting the moment rush like water over your head. Don’t forget to come up to breathe. To feel. Observe your thoughts. Watch your emotions. See the vividness of the world around you. The life within each object, thing and person. Be kind. Be happy. Be present. Breathe.
