Finally, I’m back! I guess you could say that the summer heat had forced me to retreat into a “creative cave” (so to speak). Even though I’ve been particularly quiet, I’ve been secretly brewing up some creative projects that I can’t wait to share. Just yesterday I was in Las Casas, Bataan and couldn’t resist taking advantage of the beautiful architecture. Let me just say that this skirt is something of a fairytale. The vibrant shade of pink, the bow cinched at the waist, the graduated hem (and who can overlook the pockets) all combine into a swoon-worthy piece by none other than Filipino designer, Jun Escario.

In the coming posts, you can expect something beyond the usual “ootd”. I’ve been expressing myself with some creative collaborations with Filipino designers and creatives. In the meantime, to cope with this Manila heat I’ll be buying tubs of Merry Moo Ice Cream and retreating to the nearest body of water.
